My journey into photography was a little different, not knowing that it would become such an important part of my life. It began in the early days of Instagram, experimenting with filters and using my phone to capture the world around me.

That curiosity eventually led me to street and documentary photography, where I discovered a different way of looking at everyday life.

As I spent more time behind the camera, I became interested in more than simply documenting what was in front of me. I was drawn to the potential within a moment — bringing together light, composition, colour and timing to create something with its own sense of artistry, without losing the honesty of what was there.

That curiosity continues to drive me today, whether I'm photographing a wedding in Melbourne, my fiancée, or finding my way through the streets of Havana.

I'm interested in making photographs that make you feel part of something. Capturing not just what a moment looked like, but what it felt like to be there. Sometimes that comes together in an instant; other times, it takes patience, quiet observation or a subtle prompt.

It's this balance of instinct and intention that shapes the way I photograph couples on their wedding day.
